Tele-Tech Services parent company, KFR Services, is a certified women-owned, second generation family business. We have been providing stellar services and reliable results since 1975 - and, we’ve done so with a core team intact. Please meet our management staff:
Kimberly Russo
Co-President
Kimberly (Kim) joined KFR Services in 1993, and presently oversees our sales, marketing, and product development efforts. In this capacity, she responds to customer inquiries, designs marketing materials, and manages our web site. Since graduating magna cum laude from Montclair State University, Kim has held various positions in the company including Director of Operations, Customer Service, and Human Resources – as well as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. An accomplished writer and speaker on telecom regulatory issues, Kim has enjoyed diverse opportunities to contribute pieces and/or address industry interests (I.E.:
Phone Plus, Telecommunications Magazine, The Network Manager's Handbook, and
the Institute for International Research conferences).
Committed to giving back to her community, Kim stays involved through seated positions and active involvement in a variety of organizations, that have included Eagle Nest Elementary PTA, the Enrollment Committee of Palmetto Scholars Academy, and the Junior Service League of Summerville. In fact, Kim was recognized for both her community involvement and professional success through receipt of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” award. Kim and her husband, Nick, are the proud and busy parents of three terrific children - a daughter and two sons. Whenever time and schedules allow, the Russos enjoy escaping together on family camping trips.
Stephanie Fetchen
Co-President
Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Since beginning as a programmer with KFR Services in 1991, positions Stephanie has held include Director of MIS, Director of Operations, Vice President of MIS, and Vice President of Operations. Among Stephanie's current responsibilities is the oversight of all software development activities, including program specification and design, scheduling, coding and testing. She also developed and champions the data quality program that has enabled accuracy exceeding 99.98% for product delivered to customers.
Stephanie’s belief in community contributions keeps her actively involved through board appointments, committee seats and continued participation in local organizations such as the Newington Elementary PTA, Junior Service League of Summerville and the Dorchester Habitat for Humanity. Stephanie and her husband, Doug, have two dynamic daughters who do their best to ensure the Fetchen’s are never without a solidly booked schedule.
Janice Kromer
Vice President
As KFR’s co-founder, Janice became interested in telecom tariffs in 1975, when she was a member of the team that designed and implemented one of the first call accounting applications in the telecommunications industry. Over the years, Janice has served as Vice President of nearly every department at KFR – and she remains very involved today, with her company focus on leadership of the Leisure Association Management Division.
Janice stays just as active in her free time, with board positions and participation in associations such as the Charleston Power Squadron, the Advisory Council for The College of Charleston’s Family Enterprise Forum, and the Beach Club Villa Home Owners Association. Any spare time found is spent with her five grandchildren or cruising the Intracoastal Waterway aboard “No Sense” with her husband (and KFR co-founder), Steve.
Stephen C. Kromer
Vice President
One of KFR’s original founders, Steve served as the company’s President from its 1975 inception until 2009. In 2009, he and co-founder (and wife), Janice, were proud to transition the company to its second generation by passing the Presidency to a role currently shared by daughters Kimberly Russo and Stephanie Fetchen. Through the decades, Steve’s area of expertise and primary focus was the design and implementation of the databases Tele-Tech Services produced. Today, Steve serves in an advisory capacity on special projects for KFR – and he plays an integral part in the Leisure Association Management Division.
Outside of work, Steve is a former Bridge Officer with the Charleston Power Squadron, was extremely active in the local SCORE chapter, and is always interested in finding ways to stay involved in community endeavors. When weather and time are in his favor, Steve loves for he and Janice to head out on their trawler and cruise the Intracoastal Waterway.
Linda Chugon
Director
Operations & Customer Service
Linda started KFR Services in 1998 as a receptionist, with her skills and aptitude soon moving her into a sales assistant position. The momentum just kept building, and the next year, utilizing the tariff research skills she developed, Linda became Tariff Team Leader. Linda continued to rise through the ranks becoming Assistant Director of Operations and, in 2001, Director of Operations. Linda oversees all activities related to data collection, tariff research, data entry, quality assurance - as well as Tele-Tech’s customer service department.
During her time away from KFR, Linda supports her community through volunteer activities that include the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Trident United Way. Discovering new places to venture and trails to blaze make motorcycling and camping favorite pass-times for Linda and her husband, Nick. Time spent with family and friends is a big part of Linda’s downtime – so, happily, her grown son lives nearby.
Scott Cave
Director
Finance, IS & Business Continuity
Scott joined KFR Services in 2000 as an Assistant Director of Finance and Customer Service. Scott’s proficient management of these departments led to his 2003 appointment as Director of Finance and Information Technology (IT). Simultaneous to overseeing all finance and IT functions, Scott also manages KFR’s corporate business continuity and disaster recovery planning. In fact, Scott was so adept at contingency planning, he obtained certification as a Business Continuity Planner through Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) in 2006; and, he has managed our Business Continuity Services division since that time.
Outside the office, Scott stays extremely active in his church and community in a variety of ways, including board seats, committee chairs and continued support of local educational programs, Charleston’s Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church, and the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Scott and his wife, Cyndee, have three lovely daughters to keep them in smiles – and on their toes - daily.
